This morning-
Jakob: "Mom, why is Troy so bossy?"
Me: "Well, I don't know."
Jakob: "Mom, when you had Troy, did you maybe really have a girl, and she kind of got...mixed up when he was a baby and you had him instead?" (I'm thinking he was asking if Troy was switched at birth. I have no idea where he'd hear about something like that ever happening, but whatever.)
Me: "Trust me, Jakob, I know that Troy is part of our family."
Jakob: "Well, he's really bossy. Did he maybe get hit in the head when he was little with something to make him bossy?"
Me: (trying not to laugh) "No, I think he was just born that way."

So Jakob thinks that only girls should be bossy then... too funny! So if Ivy's bossy will he expect that and not complain?
See ya Saturday!
LOL! That's so funny!
Oh my gosh, that is so funny. Troy is your family's Dylan. Bossy mania.
Jenny overheard two of her boys talking one day. They were discussing something about their parents that they found to be quite annoying. At one point Max asked Bentley why mommy and daddy were like that. Bentley just shrugged and said, "That's just the way Heavenly Father made them." But I think they would like the "got hit on the head with a bossy-stick" theory better.
Ahhh those moments when our kids look at their sibs and see the "differences"....my older kids have all pulled that "you were found under a rock" prank on the younger ones.
Fun fun fun!
