Pleasantly Surprised

My Valentines Day turned out to be pretty good. Despite our strep, both Pete and I felt fairly good (though confined to our house).

Pete gave me a pink Snuggie. It's super awesome. Oh, and Coke and chocolate. Does my man love me or what?

I gave him some candy, too.

Saturday night we ordered Chili's to go, and ate it after the kids were in bed. We got Molten Chocolate Cake for dessert (YUM!!!!), which incidentally we'd order all the time when we were friends in college and split it. We also watched "Miss Congeniality".

So our V-day weekend ended up being really nice. I really liked eating food late, just me and Pete. Maybe next year we'll do it again, but without the germs.

That all sounds delightful!!

Are you guys feeling any better? Seriously, I'm now afraid I will catch strep after reading your very clever cheer (see you're totally creative--I'm jealous of YOU!) since if I even just hear the word "STREP" I catch it....

No fun at all. But cute snuggie!! :D

i'm so glad your valentine's day turned out well! the flu passed through our house on v-day and the day before (and the day after for me.) it was NOT fun. but luckily the kids didn't get it and they had a good day!
p.s. i've never had that molten chocolate cake but it sounds so GOOD!

I'm glad that you are all recovered. I haven't had strep nearly as much since my kids got their tonsils out and aren't bringing it home anymore. It sounds like a great Valentine's Day. Ethan got a Snuggie for Christmas- he has let me borrow it a few times. Love it!

I have to get me one of those Snuggies, stat. I'm always cold. How fun. I'm looking forward to my belated Valentine's celebration, which might be in a couple of weeks. :)
