Well, THAT Sucked

So, I just got back from the store. And my land! Are we all suddenly supposed to be billionaires? It seems that way with how much everything costs!

Now, I should be grateful, because 1) I got everything I needed, 2) I got about two weeks worth of groceries for about the cost of one week's worth, and 3) when I got home and put food away my pantry was extra full. (Number 3 could be because the pantry is really disorganized right now, but that's beside the point.)

But...I couldn't get anything "extra". I wanted to buy some bananas and apples, but I couldn't, because we're officially at 0 dollars until two weeks from now when we get paid again. Just the way the chips (bills) fell this pay period. So I got the necessities. I just hope I have enough formula to last for the next two weeks-Ivy sucks down a lot of formula. And diapers. Buying cheese, which we need in our house as much as the air we breathe, was almost painful because it was so expensive. I wanted to buy Halloween candy, but no way that was happening. We'll just have to turn out the lights and hide in our basement Halloween night. Or just be conveniently gone or something.

It just kind of makes me a little torked at the big wig Wall Street guys boo-hooing about their billionaire status going to millionaire status. Oh, wah! Would you like some cheese with that whine??? Because the average Joe is who is getting kicked in the butt the most with all this recession stuff. Gas, food, electricity...all the real necessities are jumping up cost-wise.

Okay, I'm going to stop ranting now. I'm getting myself too worked up to go to bed. Right now I hate thinking about money...or the lack thereof. Ugh!

I feel your pain! Right now we are almost out of milk, and I hate the thought of going to the store because it will turn into $100. I can't seem to walk out of the grocery store without spending at least that much, even if I only needed to pick up a few things!!

Hey Nat- I always feel like I run out the paycheck money way too fast! Mom P has some formula for us to bring up to you- so hang in there. Also- I didn't tag you, but a different Natalie. So don't feel any guilt for not doing it. I know that you are tagged out as of late.

Oh, girl, you are preaching to the choir. You can come get some apples from me, and some formula, because I got them for free at the Bishop's Storehouse. Gotta love being a Mormon. But seriously. I got too much formula, so if you need me to tide you over until you get some from Pete's mom, come on over, baby. And our apples are going to go bad, because they gave me too many. So come get 'em.
