Baby Needs a New Pair of Shoes

My poor, ragamuffin, white trash children. I've been making them wear their too small, holes in the toes, soles worn off shoes all summer. Thus (Troy's):

And thus (Brock's):

And thus (Jakob's):

And poor Ivy didn't wear any shoes all summer. (Not that I didn't try with her, but she can't, or won't, keep them on to save her life. Though she is a girl, and so she is born with a shoe fetish, and tries on everyone else's shoes.)

With school starting, the boys all got new socks, new pants, shirts, undies, and...

NEW SHOES!

Oh, how I love new shoes. And my boys are so excited to start wearing their new shoes as well. Jakob even learned to tie his by himself.

The dread/nervousness of starting a new school year is turning into excitement. And what a better way to start off on a new road not yet traveled, but in shoes not yet traveled in?

Those are some sa-weet shoes! Good for you for teaching Jake how to tie them. Um, I haven't taught Dylan how to tie shoes yet. He's never had any with laces before. I'm a bad mother. Poor kid will get made fun of. I think we're going to get Sadie some school clothes and shoes for her birthday, and I'm really excited about it. I'll have to save up for Poor Dylan, too.

What a poetic ending to your post! I get paid tomorrow (the second day of school for us) so I get to buy new school shoes and get a new school haircut tomorrow. It's amazing how little touches like that make all the difference in confidence and excitement...if only those little touches could cost a little less. They we could enjoy them more often ;)

I had to laugh at calling you children "white trash"! No way! They're just making the most of what they've got! I LOVE that you're teaching them to Make it last, make it do, make it over or do without"--it will bless their lives!

Nice shoe pictures, I'll have to copy that so they can see them when they grow up. I thought you'd stolen my boys shoes!

New shoes are so fun!! I'm too cheap to buy my kids shoes until they absolutely need them too! Jonas is even wearing shoes that are a size too big for him because they were on clearance and my mom bought them for him!! HAhaha. That's probably not good though, right? :P

hi ppl. I'm really into shoes and I had been searching for that particular make. The prices seeking the velcros were about 320 dollars on every page. But finally I bring about this location selling them as a remedy for half price. I in reality like these prada sneakers. I will absolutely buy these. what can you tell me about these?

But completely I base this area selling them for the benefit of half price. I really like those gucci sneakers. I will definetly buy these. what is your opinion?
