Charlie (Brown) and the Chocolate Factory

It's done! And it's beautiful!

Oh, I'm talking about painting in the living room and kitchen. See?

(Here's the before shot, if you wanted to compare. Before: white walls. After: chocolate walls.)

And if you don't believe me about the chocolatey-ness, here's my chocolate milk next to the lighter of the browns:

The chocolate milk extends into the one wall in the living room, and the dark chocolate is above that and on the opposite wall. YUM!

Though, I can't decide if I want to sit and try to touch up every single tiny blob by the top of the big wall. It would literally take me hours, and you can't tell there are little blobs unless you're right underneath the wall looking up. I mean, can you tell in the picture?

Well, I can't, and maybe that's all that matters. I'm so glad to finally have some color (albeit brown) in my life! Thanks, Kar and Mom, for helping me paint, and Pete, who (mostly) kept the kids out of the way.

Nat, I can't see any blobs. In fact I am very impressed with your clean lines. I don't know if I can ever visit you though. I'd just want chocolate milk all the time!

Ooh, I like it. You may have inspired me to finish my painting. It looks great, now I want to come see it in person.

it looks great, I love the chocolate brown. I think that when we finish our basement I want to do chocolate brown. I love the dark brown.

"Mostly" being the operative word. :) That little Troy... I was so tired after our painting extravaganza; I might have to take a two or three-month breather before we tackle my living room!!

I heart new paint! we just did our living room and trying to get the gusto to paint the kitchen and family room. I love how paint can transform a room. Good color choices. I like chocolate!

It looks great! I'm so glad that you finally decided on a color and went for it. You'll have to see if it leads to more chocolatey cravings though.
