We're Expecting...

...our new riding lawn mower to be delivered tomorrow!!!

Our other mower died a very tragic death as it was trying to power through our craptastic backyard. It had a good long life, though-it was a hand-me-down from my dad. I remember running it when I was a pre-teen. It sputtered and smoked while I was mowing earlier this week. It hasn't started again since.

So a new mower was needed, and since our yard is so huge, well, this will make it easy, fun, and fast to mow!

YAY!!

YAY for your guys! Now when Jakeob turns 9 you'll get to weight the seat down with phonebooks so the thing will start for him when it's HIS turn to mow the lawn :) But oh, it's Sooooo worth it. Grats!

Hi girl, I love your blog...so cute. I really enjoyed reading about your history in a nutshell entry. Kind of crazy to think about where we have been and where we want to go!

You are such a punk, putting a title like that up... :) At first, my heart started racing. And then I was like, no way. She would keep it secret until she was, like, six months along. :)

Congrats! That looks like a pretty sweet ride. Now you can get in on that cool undergroud riding mower racing scene. You can soup up the engine, get some temporary tattoos and come up with a great racing alias. I can totally picture it...now someone just has to start a cool underground riding mower racing scene...

I saw the delivery truck come this morning and I got all excited for you. I was living vicariously, since I always wish the deliveries are for me but they are always for the hubby.

Wow! A John Deere. Very exciting. Heidi loves our riding lawn mower. Idea: If you live outside city limits you could get some sheep. Sheep mow about 1.2 acres of our 2 acre lot. Good fun. Best wishes with your new arrival.

Wowee! What fun- and I assume the mower will have 3 assistants that want to go along for the ride. Hopefully that won't slow down the progress. My dad had one growing up- I never did get to mow the lawn with it though. Our lot was very steep and led down to a creek on the side- I almost dumped the regular mower in more than once.
