I'm now debunking the myth that if you wait until the child is older to start potty training, that it's easier. Um, totally not the case. I think either the child is easy to train or not at all.
Now, if you'll excuse me while I go clean about 5 blankets that have now been peed on, along with the bin they were sitting in, that Brock was sitting in.
Grrr.

Hopefully it will get easier sooner rather than later! I love the pics of Ivy smiling! She is such a cute little girl! And, did I tell you that I love your family picture on your title...super great!
I have SO BEEN THERE. It does eventually get better. It depends on teh kid for how long it takes. Gavin was a nightmare... he still has issues but a wet spot on his undies vs a wet spot all down his pants and on the floor? no comparison. I would rather just the undies thank you. It's hard I know... and at times you just want to SHAKE the kid and YELL at the tops of your lungs. Just know this. It will get better and others have been through it too. your not alone in having a hard to train kiddo.
I LOVE your family picture! Oh my goodness, I can't stop laughing. I love how you have a smile on your face, but the look in your eyes is all too familiar to any mother. It's absolutely perfect.
And on potty training, I gave up with Charlotte. I'm NOT potty training her, but she still managed to both pee and poo on the floor today.
Isn't it strange how you want to strangle the very ones you love the most? Very conflicting emotions going on at the same time as a mother. Maybe that's why I enjoy your family picture so much.
Hang in there! Maybe in six months Troy will be showing Brock how it's done. All the messes make diapers not seem that bad. Except for the expense in it all.

I so understand the potty training thing... I've started but they can be so stubborn! Tell "heidi" the other person who left you a note, that anyone who can look at your blog can print, copy, and paste anything you write. Like entire family history, and names, places you go, pet names, favorite and not so public facts, locations, family pictures, I can pull anything off of any other blog I have access too... kind of freaky when you realize someone can look you up in the phone book if they know the state you live in and your last name, and have pictures of your kids from your blog. so if you want help with the private "permissions" thing... email me@ heidibugg@hotmail.com
