When it comes to being handy, Pete and I both suck. Sure, he has brute strength, and I have the patience to put things together. But, Pete can get very angry at inanimate objects very fast, and I have zero strength to lift things, and usually mess it up and have to redo it. And this is why we almost always hire out handiwork.
So, I'm rather proud of my racks. It's all level and everything! Just call me Handy Manny. (Okay, really, please don't call me that-I hate that show.)

I love reading your blog... there is so much wit in what you have to say.. I love it! Awesome job!!
good job! i never do anything handy, so i'm proud of you for your success.
After seeing the title I have to admit that I was so curious what you were writing about!
GO MOMMA GO!!!
I watched part of an episode of Handy Manny once, and the fact that his name isn't Handy Andy or Mandy, something with a "d" really bugs me, plus the show is kind of annoying. And, by the way, good job with all your handy skills!
I hate Handy Manny, too. A lot. Especially that whiney saw. Is it the saw that's whiney? And when Manny answers the phone, his answer is like five minutes long: "Hello, Handy Manny's Repair Shop. You break it, we fix it. This is Manny. How can I help you?" If I was calling, I would have hung up. Anywho, good job on installing the rack. I get really proud of myself for installing stuff, too, which doesn't happen too often, since Ben is Mr. Handy. Handy Benny.
Love the Rack. Love the Post. LOVE THE POST TITLE!!!! You make me smile... and snicker the way the 7th graders do whenever I say "participle". Thanks for the Friday-Night Snicker!
Way to go, Nat!! I'm totally not handy either. That's awesome you did it all by yourself!! Looks great!
