On Friday my mom, my sister, and I went to a play called "Nunsense". It was so cute, and hilarious! And, it had Sally Struthers in it.
Not that that means a whole lot to me, because I only really knew her from an infomercial about getting your degree in several different things like "computer programming, child day care, etc". Still. She did awesome.
My favorite nun was Mary Amnesia, who couldn't remember who she was before entering the convent. My favorite numbers were one where they tap danced in really bright shoes, and another where the chorus said, "I'm holier than thou". That song was about picking a saint and emulating him or her.
It was very fun, and it's always a treat to do something "adult" once in a while. Thanks, Mom, for taking us!

Sounds like fun! We get cool performances like that around here about once in a blue moon. Most of the time the only adult entertainment we have are livestock related. I need to get myself to a city and stock up on culture soon!
I'd love to go to a girls' night out at a play or some other cultural thing. I really miss all the fun things that I used to do before kids!!
That picture of Sally Struthers is a good one! (And probably an old one.) I had fun, too. My favorite part was when she got high. :)
That show is funny. Amnesia is my fave too, haha. How fun!!
